Third Fiji Tourism Convention

The Third Fiji Tourism Convention was the Fiji Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation's two-day national gathering for the visitor economy, held 22-23 January 2026 at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa on Denarau Island under the theme 'Tourism Beyond Boundaries'. It was opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Viliame Gavoka, and drew government leaders, industry operators, community and resource-owner representatives, development partners, academia and youth, with the programme built around tourism policy and long-term planning, cross-sector collaboration, and sustainable and inclusive growth. The Pacific Tourism Organisation reported that the convention's outcomes would feed into the Ministry's own tourism planning work.
