Garden of the Sleeping Giant

The Garden of the Sleeping Giant is a 20-hectare botanical garden at the foothills of the Sabeto Range, about ten minutes north of Nadi and roughly 25 minutes from Denarau Island. Originally established as the private orchid collection of Hollywood actor Raymond Burr, it now displays over a thousand varieties of orchids through the year alongside native Fijian flora, with jungle walkways, lily ponds and mountain views. Open daily, it offers guided strolls and a tropical juice on arrival. Beyond sightseeing, the garden is used for weddings, proposals, celebrations and corporate team-building, its lush greenery and vibrant blooms providing a natural setting for outdoor ceremonies and events near Nadi.
