The Wakaya Club & Spa
The Wakaya Club & Spa is an exclusive, privately owned island resort on Wakaya Island in Fiji's Lomaiviti group, east of the main islands. An adults-oriented luxury retreat, it hosts only a small number of guests at a time across a handful of free-standing bures set in the island's gardens and along its shores, together with a separate multi-bedroom private residence. Facilities include a swimming pool and an on-site spa, and guests can dive and snorkel the surrounding reefs or take up tennis, golf, kayaking, hiking and island walks. The resort's seclusion and low guest numbers suit intimate weddings, vow renewals and honeymoons, as well as small executive retreats and incentive groups seeking complete privacy.

Papageno Resort
Papageno Resort & Dive is a low-density boutique resort on Kadavu Island in Fiji's south, reached only by boat across Malawai Bay. Set across more than 320 acres of rainforest, gardens and oceanfront, it offers a limited number of Fijian-style bures — Royal and Deluxe Oceanfront Bures and Garden Hideaways — for a private, unhurried stay. The resort runs on solar power with a waterfall-fed freshwater supply and completed a refurbishment in 2024. Its dive centre gives direct access to Rooper Reef and the wider Great Astrolabe Reef, alongside snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, hiking, waterfall walks and village kava ceremonies. Dining and massages are available on-site. The intimate setting suits small groups, honeymoons and intimate beachfront weddings on Kadavu.

Oneta Resort
Oneta Resort is a small, family-run eco-resort on Ono Island in Fiji's Kadavu archipelago, set on around 70 acres of beachfront beside the Great Astrolabe Reef. The island has no roads and is reached by boat. Accommodation comprises seven traditional Fijian bures and two villas, ranging from hillside units with ocean views to beachfront bures, some with private pools. The resort is oriented around the water, with manta ray snorkelling at a nearby cleaning station, reef diving and snorkelling along the Astrolabe, sport fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, outrigger excursions, bird-island trips and hiking, plus boat charters. Owner-led and low-key, it lends itself to intimate beach weddings and elopements for couples seeking a remote, natural Fiji setting.

Lalati Resort & Spa
Lalati Resort & Spa sits on Beqa Island in Fiji's Beqa Lagoon, an unspoiled setting of rainforest and clear tropical water reached by boat from Pacific Harbour on Viti Levu. The resort has fourteen oceanfront villas and suites, with a central main bure built in the traditional chiefly style, with soaring ceilings and heavy posts, housing the bar and restaurant that serves fresh local cuisine. A separate activities bure helps guests plan daily excursions, from dolphin watching and paddling in Malumu Bay to waterfall swims, and there is a full spa menu. Lalati keeps a quiet, casual character with no nightclubs or roads. It suits couples, divers and small groups, and hosts beach and garden weddings and honeymoons.

Matava Eco Adventure Resort
Matava Eco Adventure Resort is a solar-powered eco resort on Kadavu Island in Fiji's southern archipelago, set among volcanic rainforest above secluded beaches and lagoons. Accommodation is in traditional handcrafted Fijian bures with private sun decks, and the resort serves organic farm-to-table meals. It is best known as a diving and adventure base on the Great Astrolabe Reef, one of the world's largest barrier reefs, with snorkelling, surfing, sportfishing, sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, rainforest trekking and birdwatching run from the property. Remote and low-key, it suits small groups, incentive travellers and couples seeking an off-grid island retreat, and can host intimate gatherings and weddings.

Kulu Bay Resort
Kulu Bay Resort is a small boutique resort on Beqa Island, a short boat trip south of Viti Levu. It has seven spacious beachfront bures, each more than 100 square metres with a king master suite, two bathrooms and a private wrap-around deck, set on a calm, sheltered bay. The property is solar-powered and eco-focused, and its waters give ready access to the diving and snorkelling of the Beqa Barrier Reef and Beqa Lagoon. Its scale and seclusion suit couples, honeymooners and small groups, and it hosts intimate weddings for small numbers of guests.
