Nadi is about 3 hours from Auckland, 3.5 hours from Brisbane, 4 hours from Sydney, 4 hours 40 minutes from Melbourne, 10 hours from Los Angeles and 10 to 11 hours from Singapore, Hong Kong or Tokyo. From the UK or Europe there is no direct service: plan on 19 to 22 hours with at least one connection.
Those are scheduled block times for non-stop services into Nadi International Airport (NAN), Fiji's main gateway. Actual times vary by aircraft, routing and headwinds, and the eastbound and westbound legs are rarely identical.

Fiji is the hub for much of the region, and the short-hop times are a genuine advantage if you are building a multi-country trip:

Is Nadi the only airport?
No, but it is the one almost everyone uses. Nadi International (NAN) on the west of Viti Levu takes the long-haul and trans-Tasman traffic and sits beside the Denarau and Coral Coast resort corridors. Nausori (SUV), serving Suva on the east, takes a much thinner international schedule and is mainly a domestic airport. If your business is in Suva, you will usually still fly into Nadi and transfer — a point we work through in Nausori Airport and the Suva access problem.
What does the flight time mean for your first day?
This is the part the flight-time tables leave out, and it matters more than the duration.
From New Zealand and Australia, the flight is short enough that a morning departure lands you in Fiji with most of the day intact. There is no time-zone penalty worth worrying about: Fiji runs ahead of eastern Australia and is close to New Zealand time, so nobody arrives jet-lagged in any meaningful sense.
From North America, the overnight southbound leg crosses the International Date Line and you lose a calendar day going out and gain one coming back. The flight is long but lands in the morning, which is the good version of a long-haul arrival.
From Europe or Asia, you are arriving off a connection, often late. Build a night in Nadi before anything else. Then add the ground or sea transfer. Denarau is roughly 20 to 25 minutes from the terminal; the Coral Coast is a two-hour drive; the Mamanucas are a 30-minute to 1 hour 45 minute boat from Port Denarau; the Yasawas are longer again. A three-hour flight from Auckland can still be a six-hour door-to-door day.
The short answer
If you are flying from New Zealand or Australia, Fiji is a half-day trip and you can leave home after breakfast and swim before dinner. From North America it is a single overnight. From Europe it is a serious journey and should be planned as one.
