Published Fiji elopement packages run from about FJ$1,577 to FJ$3,200 for two people. That buys a coordinator, a celebrant, a decorated ceremony site, flowers and sparkling wine. What it almost never buys is photography, accommodation, or the marriage licence fee — and those three are what turn a FJ$3,000 package into a FJ$8,000 week.
Below is every Fiji elopement and two-person ceremony package we can find a published price for, side by side, with what each one leaves out.

What is actually in these packages?
The inclusions are more similar than the prices suggest. Nearly every one gives you a coordinator, a decorated ceremony location, a celebrant or minister, a bridal bouquet and buttonhole, sparkling wine and a cake.
The differences are at the edges, and they are the interesting part:
Plantation Island's Lailai (FJ$1,577) is the lean version: coordinator, setup with tropical decorations, celebrant, bouquet and buttonhole, sparkling wine, an antipasto platter and a keepsake gift. No cultural performers, no dinner, no massage. The vow renewal at the same price swaps the platter arrangement for a couples massage.
Tropica's Escape to Paradise (FJ$2,999) adds a great deal for the extra FJ$1,400: marriage licence assistance, a Fijian warrior escort, a serenader, a couples massage, a romantic dinner on the pier and breakfast in bed. This is the most inclusive package at its price point that we can find published.
The Remote Resort's package (FJ$3,117) is the most thoroughly specified. It includes government licence liaison and the district office visit, two Fijian warrior escorts, two witnesses, a celebrant, serenaders or a music setup, canapés, a one-hour boat for post-ceremony photos, a private dinner and a tiered cake. The boat hour is unusual and genuinely useful on Vanua Levu.
Mango Bay's Mango Delight (FJ$3,200) includes transport to Sigatoka to arrange the licence, a Fijian village choir, traditional warriors escorting the bride, a flower arch, couples massages and a cake.
Beqa Lagoon's tiered packages are the only Fiji packages we have found that publish a full ladder at three price points, with a kava ceremony, an award-winning choir and a warrior escort appearing from the entry tier upward.
What do they leave out?
Four things, consistently.
Photography. Not one of the packages above includes professional photography. Several include staff assistance with your own phone or camera, which is not the same thing. Budget a Fiji photographer separately, and read can you bring your own photographer to a Fiji resort wedding before you fly one in.
Accommodation. Every package above is priced as a ceremony product on top of a room booking. Plantation Island's larger Vakamau and Domoni packages do bundle four to five nights — which is why they jump to FJ$8,393 and above — but the elopement tier does not.
The marriage licence fee. Plantation Island publishes it at FJ$57.50, paid separately to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages office. Several packages include help with the paperwork; the fee itself is yours.
Hair and makeup. Rarely included, and on remote properties sometimes not available at all — The Remote Resort states plainly that professional hair and makeup services are not available locally. See our Fiji wedding hair and makeup directory for who travels where.
Marriage licence requirements and fees are guideline information only — confirm with the Fiji Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages before you travel. Last reviewed 19 September 2026.
How to compare them properly
Ignore the headline number. Build the same five lines for each:
- Package price
- Minimum accommodation nights the resort requires, at the nightly rate
- Photography, quoted separately
- Licence fee and any document costs
- Transfers — the boat or road transfer, both ways, for two
On that basis a FJ$1,577 package at a Mamanuca resort reached by a 45-minute boat and a FJ$3,200 package on the mainland can land within a few hundred dollars of each other. The full line-by-line method is in our Fiji wedding cost breakdown.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Plantation Island's Lailai if you want the lowest published entry price and intend to arrange photography and extras yourself.
Choose Tropica's Escape to Paradise if you want the most inclusive published package — warriors, serenader, massage, pier dinner — without moving into five-figure territory.
Choose The Remote Resort if you want the licence process handled end to end and you like the idea of somewhere genuinely remote on Vanua Levu. Note the weekday-arrival requirement for the district office.
Choose Mango Bay if you want a mainland Coral Coast location reached by road rather than boat, with a village choir and warriors included.
Choose Beqa Lagoon if you want a three-tier ladder you can move up or down, and a kava ceremony as standard.
Before you book
Two things. First, check the timing rules — Fiji requires you to be in the country to complete the licence, and how long before the wedding you need to be in Fiji sets out the real minimum. Second, get the wet-weather alternative named in writing; an elopement on a beach has nowhere to go otherwise.
More in our eloping and renewing vows in Fiji hub, the Fiji wedding cost hub, and if you are still weighing the format, elopement vs micro-wedding vs full wedding in Fiji is the comparison to read next.
