Pacific Harbour's largest published seated capacity is 300, at The Pearl Resort's conference centre. The second and third largest sit at a 23-room property, which means the numbers and the beds do not line up. For 100 to 250 day delegates the precinct works well. For a 200-delegate residential conference it does not, and this is why.
Pacific Harbour is on Viti Levu's southern coast at Deuba, in the Navua district, roughly a two-hour drive from Nadi International Airport on Queens Road and considerably closer to Suva. It is Fiji's adventure precinct and the gateway to Beqa Lagoon. It is also one of the few Fiji precincts where a conference and a genuinely different off-site programme sit within ten minutes of each other.
Everything below is what the venues themselves publish, checked on 8 October 2026. Where nothing is published, we say so rather than estimating.
What meeting space is actually published in Pacific Harbour?
| Venue | Space | Setup | Published capacity | Notes |

| The Pearl Resort | Clubhouse Facility | not specified | up to 130 | Country Clubhouse; private functions and parties |
| The Pearl Resort | High-tech Multimedia Room | U-shape | 20 | |
| The Pearl Resort | High-tech Multimedia Room | cinema style | 10 | Published figure is lower than the U-shape figure |
| Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort | Casino Themed Conference Room | theatre | 250 | Largest theatre figure in the precinct |
| Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort | Air-conditioned Conference Room | theatre | 200 | |
| Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort | Café Conference Room | theatre | 50 | |
| Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort | Board Room | boardroom | 20 | |
| Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort | Breakout Room | boardroom | 20 | Gives the property a genuine two-room-plus-breakout set |
| Uprising Beach Resort | Beachfront restaurant and bar | not specified | Not published | Hosts events and live music; ceremony space published at 20 |
| Nanuku Resort | Beach, Club House Lawn, Sunset Deck, Private Island | — | Not published | Four named event spaces, no capacities published |
Three things stand out, and all three matter to a brief.
The precinct's biggest numbers are theatre-only. Not one Pacific Harbour venue publishes a banquet, cocktail, classroom or hollow-square capacity. If your programme needs 150 at round tables for a gala dinner, no published figure in this precinct answers that question and you will have to ask.
The Pearl's multimedia room figures are inconsistent as published — 20 in a U-shape against 10 cinema style, which is the wrong way round for almost any room. Treat both as approximate and ask for the floor dimensions.
Yatu Lau publishes 250 and 200 seats against 23 guest rooms. That is not a contradiction in the venue's data; it is simply a day-delegate venue. Which brings us to the real constraint.
Can you run a residential conference here?
For up to about 100 delegates, yes. Above that, you are splitting across properties or bussing in daily.
The Pearl Resort is the only property in the precinct that pairs a 300-seat conference centre with resort accommodation, a 130-capacity clubhouse as a second space, an 18-hole golf course, a marina, a spa and a chapel. It is the default answer for a Pacific Harbour conference and would be even without the capacity figure, because it is the only venue here built to handle a residential programme end to end. It does not publish a room count, so confirm available inventory for your dates before you commit to a delegate number.
Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort on Fairway Place is the interesting one. Twenty-three rooms, two pools, a restaurant, bar and day spa, and the deepest published meeting-room set in the precinct: two large rooms, a 50-seat café room, a board room and a dedicated breakout room. For a 60-delegate residential meeting with simultaneous breakouts it is arguably better configured than anything else here. For 200 delegates it is a venue, not a hotel, and your room block is somewhere else.
Nanuku Resort is not a conference venue and does not present itself as one. It is a five-star villa resort on a private beach facing Beqa Lagoon, with butler service, and it publishes four event spaces — Beach, Club House Lawn, Sunset Deck and a private island — without capacities. For a 20-person executive retreat or a high-end incentive reward it is the strongest property on this coast. Note that all four published spaces are outdoors; ask what the wet-weather alternative is before you build a programme around any of them.
Uprising Beach Resort spans beachfront bures through to lodge and dormitory rooms, with a pool, two bars and a well-known beachfront restaurant that hosts events and live music. It publishes no conference capacity and a ceremony capacity of 20. Read it as a welcome-function and casual-group venue, and as the budget accommodation option when a programme has a wide price range to cover.
What about wet weather?
This is the question to ask first in Pacific Harbour, because the precinct sits on Viti Levu's wetter southern coast rather than the dry west.
The Pearl's conference centre and Yatu Lau's air-conditioned conference room are the two enclosed, air-conditioned spaces with published capacities, which makes them the precinct's genuine wet-weather anchors. Everything at Nanuku that is published is outdoors. Uprising's event space is a beachfront restaurant. If your plenary is indoors and only your dinner is outside, you have a workable plan; if the plenary itself is outdoors, you need a written contingency from the venue in the contract, not a verbal assurance. Our wet-weather contingency by venue guide covers how to get that in writing.
How long is the transfer, and from where?
Pacific Harbour's own directory records put it at about a two-hour drive from Nadi International Airport, on sealed highway the whole way. It is materially closer to Suva, which makes it the natural off-site precinct for a Suva-based government or regional meeting, and a long transfer for a group arriving on an international flight into Nadi.
Two practical consequences. First, if your delegates fly into Nadi, Pacific Harbour costs you four hours of coach time return — build that into the programme rather than discovering it on day one. Second, a Suva-based event can use Pacific Harbour as a day or overnight off-site without any of that pain. Real drive times for every Viti Levu precinct are in Nadi to Denarau, Coral Coast, Suva and Pacific Harbour: real transfer times, and the fleet question is covered in coach charter in Fiji.
What is the off-site programme worth here?
More than almost anywhere else in Fiji, and this is the real argument for the precinct. Pacific Harbour's draw is that the adventure product is on the doorstep rather than two hours away.
Diving and shark diving in Beqa Lagoon runs with operators including Beqa Adventure Divers. River trips on the Navua run with Rivers Fiji, and inland and village programmes with Discover Fiji Tours. Lailai Lounge by Tropic Magic is an island lounge and boat-day experience in Beqa Lagoon, reached by boat and set up for groups. The Pearl's own 18-hole course handles the golf day without leaving the property.
For off-site dinners, the precinct has a genuinely useful independent restaurant cluster rather than one resort monopoly: The Establishment and The Waters Edge Bar & Grill for the larger group dinner, Baka Blues Cafe for something with live music, Vakia Restaurant for local dishes including kokoda, and Riviera Restaurant at The Pearl with its river-and-sea outlook. None publishes a group capacity, so each needs a direct conversation.
The verdict
Choose The Pearl Resort if you need a single-property residential conference in this precinct. It is the only venue that can do it, and the 300-seat conference centre plus the 130-capacity clubhouse gives you a plenary and a second space.
Choose Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort if your meeting is 60 delegates or fewer and you want real breakout rooms. Its published room set is the best-configured in Pacific Harbour.
Choose Nanuku Resort if the brief is a small executive retreat or a luxury incentive, and get the wet-weather plan in writing.
Add Uprising Beach Resort if you need a wider accommodation price range, or a relaxed welcome function on the beach.
Go west instead if your plenary is above 300, you need published banquet or classroom figures to budget against, or your delegates arrive on international flights into Nadi. Conference venues on Denarau Island, in Nadi and on the Coral Coast all publish more, and all are closer to the airport.
Next step: check your delegate number against the national capacity chart, read Pacific Harbour: the complete guide for what the precinct is actually like, browse everything listed in Pacific Harbour, or start from the Fiji conference venues hub if you are still choosing a region.
