Fiji Wedding Videographers: The Directory

Fiji has a genuine wedding film market — around a dozen credible teams, several with a decade or more of work behind them. What it does not have is published pricing. Not one dedicated Fiji videographer publishes a rate, so this directory gives you what they do publish: coverage structure, style, service area and travel terms, plus the handful of real film prices that exist anywhere in the market.

Who films weddings in Fiji?

Our directory records six dedicated videography businesses, alongside a larger group of photographers who also shoot film. Two honest caveats before the list: one recorded videographer's website returns an account-suspended message, and one could not be reached behind a bot-verification wall. We have marked both rather than quietly dropping them.

The dedicated teams, in detail

Wedding Videographer Fiji publishes the most useful package structure in the market, even without prices. Three options: Wedding Films, an eight-hour shoot from 1pm to 9pm producing a four to six minute highlight film with drone footage; Documentary Video, the same eight hours delivering full-length films using two simultaneous cameras; and a combined package delivering three videos. Based at Sigatoka, working islandwide, with the emphasis on cinematic storytelling at an accessible price point.

That 1pm to 9pm window is worth noting against Fiji's light. Sunset falls between 5.42pm and 6.52pm depending on the month, so an eight-hour shoot starting at 1pm gives roughly four hours of daylight and four hours of reception — a sensible split, and one you should confirm matches your ceremony time.

Lyka Weddings, out of Suva, produces cinematic films and stills across Fiji with drone coverage, handling full weddings, elopements and destination ceremonies. It publishes the clearest travel position of any Fiji film supplier: Travel within major Fiji Islands and resort location is usually included in our packages. For weddings on remote islands or private resorts, additional travel costs for transport or accommodation may apply. That is the only supplier in the market stating island travel is normally bundled, and it is a meaningful commercial difference.

RaNi Wedding Photography & Cinematography records the widest service area of any Fiji film team — Nadi, Denarau, Lautoka, the Coral Coast, the Mamanucas, the Yasawas, Suva and Pacific Harbour. Based in Martintar, minutes from Nadi airport, offering same-day and next-day edits, which almost nobody else in Fiji advertises. If you want something to show at the reception or post before you fly home, this is the capability to ask about.

Scenic Weddings Cinematography & Photography, based in Namaka, Nadi, covers ceremonies and elopements with both film and stills across the western region and the islands, presenting recent work through an active social channel.

The two to verify first

Videoticz Fiji operates across the main wedding areas and also runs a related wedding DJ service, which makes it worth a conversation if you want film and entertainment through one contact. Its site was behind a verification wall when we checked, so we could not read current terms.

Vivid Memories Fiji's website returned This Account has been suspended on 27 September 2026. The business may simply have a hosting problem, but do not send a deposit before confirming it is trading.

Which photographers also shoot film?

This is where the market actually widens, and in Fiji it is often the better route because the same team covers both and one of them is usually pricing the job properly.

• Ocean Studio Fiji — Nadi, and the only Fiji supplier publishing a full film rate card. Around 25 years of combined experience, more than 3,500 couples, AIPP and WPPI memberships and Fiji Hotel Association membership.
• Nadi Bay Photography — a six-person team of photographers, videographers and editors with more than thirteen years of wedding work, shooting at Castaway, Plantation Island, the Denarau properties, Outrigger and Shangri-La Yanuca Island.
• Flashback Photography Fiji — Suva-based, established 2017, added videography more recently.
• Adarsh Bala Photography — Nadi, trading as Adarsh Bala Fijian Wedding Photo & Films, strong on multicultural ceremonies.
• Anish Karan Photography — Suva, photography and cinematography.
• Zoom Fiji — Suva, stills and film across weddings, tourism and sport, including work connected with Fiji's rugby sevens.
• Rolling Moments Fiji — Nadi, photography and cinematography plus content creation and equipment hire.
• Fiji Wedding Studios — Labasa, and one of very few wedding media specialists covering Vanua Levu and the northern islands.

That last entry matters more than its size suggests. If you are marrying near Savusavu or on Taveuni, your realistic options are a northern-based team or paying flights and a night's accommodation for a Nadi or Suva crew.

What does a Fiji wedding film actually cost?

These are every published film price we could find in the Fiji market. Conversions are ours at the Reserve Bank of Fiji indicative rate of 1 FJD = 0.7841 NZD / 0.6328 AUD, dated 25 September 2026.

Two things fall out of that table.

Film costs roughly what photography costs, and adding it roughly doubles your media spend. Ocean Studio prices a highlight film at FJ$3,700 against FJ$3,400 for photography. Nadi Bay publishes photography from around FJ$2,600 and photo-plus-video from around FJ$5,200. Both point the same way.

The resort add-on is the expensive route. Tokoriki's FJ$4,800 videography add-on exceeds Ocean Studio's complete FJ$3,700 highlight package. But Tokoriki publishes no hours, no delivered length and no format, so it is not a like-for-like comparison — and that is the real problem. Resort film is priced but not specified; independent film is specified but not priced. Neither side's website lets you compare properly.

What about drones?

Drone footage is near-universal in Fiji wedding films and there is a real regulatory layer underneath it.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji requires commercial remotely piloted aircraft operators to hold Liability and Third-Party Insurance Cover from a recognised Insurance broker that has dealt with Unmanned Aircraft Operations Insurance — and that applies regardless of the drone's weight class. Written CAAF authorisation is required before commercial flights, with additional requirements above 2kg and 7kg. This applies to visiting and foreign operators in Fiji airspace as much as to local ones.

Practically: a local team will hold this already. A videographer you fly in may not, and the insurance certificate is a gating document for the approval rather than an afterthought. Resorts may also have their own policies on drones over guest areas. Ask both questions.

How should you brief a Fiji videographer?

Because nobody publishes prices, the quality of your brief determines whether you get comparable quotes. Send all three shortlisted teams the same eight lines:

1. Date, island and venue — name the resort, not the region. The travel fee depends on it.
2. Ceremony start time and sunset time for your date. Fiji gives you 22 to 24 minutes of light after sunset, so this constrains the whole shoot.
3. Total hours you want covered, and whether that includes preparations and reception.
4. Cameras on the ceremony — one or two. Two is the difference between one angle on your vows and a usable edit.
5. Drone: yes or no, and whether they hold current CAAF authorisation.
6. Delivered length and format — a four to six minute highlight, a full-length documentary, or both.
7. Delivery timeframe, in writing.
8. Travel fee to this specific venue, as a figure, and the currency of the quote.

That last point is not pedantry. Fiji suppliers quote in Fijian, Australian, US and New Zealand dollars, sometimes without labelling which — we found one Fiji studio publishing bare dollar figures with no currency stated anywhere on the page. A quote that looks 10 per cent cheaper can be 40 per cent more expensive.

So who should you book?

• Best-documented coverage structure: Wedding Videographer Fiji — you know exactly what eight hours buys before you enquire.
• Best travel terms: Lyka Weddings — the only team publishing that island travel is normally included.
• Fastest turnaround: RaNi — same-day and next-day edits.
• Only published rate card: Ocean Studio Fiji — if you want a number today rather than after three enquiries.
• One team for stills and film: Nadi Bay Photography or Ocean Studio, both of which price the bundle.
• Marrying in the north: Fiji Wedding Studios, or budget for flights.
