A hundred guests is the point at which Fiji's wedding market thins out sharply. Plenty of resorts will host you; far fewer publish a number that proves it, and several cap their largest advertised package at thirty people. Here is what each resort actually publishes for a hundred-guest wedding, and where two pages on the same resort's own site disagree.
Which Fiji resorts publish a wedding capacity of 100 or more?
This table contains only figures the resort publishes on its own website. Where a resort publishes an event-space capacity but does not label it as a wedding capacity, that distinction is kept.
| Resort | Region | Published figure | Is it wedding-labelled? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort | Coral Coast | "Maximum of 100 to 120 guest dependent on the setup requirement" | Yes |
| Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort | Denarau | Sandy Point "can host up to 800 people"; Golden Ballroom banquet 400 / reception 800 | Yes (Sandy Point) |
| Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay | Nadi (Momi Bay) | Vonu Beach and North Point each reception 400 / banquet 300; Grand Salon Ballroom banquet 300 | Venue chart |
| Mana Island Resort & Spa | Mamanucas | Wedding banquets for "groups ranging from 5 to 150 guests" | Yes |
| Shangri-La Yanuca Island | Coral Coast | Ratu Makutu Events Centre 500 banquet / 650 theatre; Rara 1,000 cocktail | Event spaces only |
| Warwick Fiji Resort and Spa | Coral Coast | Talanoa Hall up to 400 theatre / 500 cocktail; Coral Coast Conference Centre 200 banquet / 400 cocktail | Event spaces only |
| Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island | Denarau | Ballroom "up to 100 guests"; outdoor lawns and Ocean Deck "ranging from 35 to 150 guests" | Yes |
| Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa | Denarau | "maximum of 100 guests comfortably in our ballroom"; Koro Lawn banquet 1,500 / reception 2,000 | Yes |
| The Naviti Resort | Coral Coast | Marquee set-up "up to 100 guests"; Bamboo Terrace Deck 50–80 | Yes |
Eight of the nine clear a hundred on paper. Only three — Outrigger, Mana and Radisson Blu — publish a number that is explicitly about a wedding rather than a function room.
Where do the published figures contradict each other?
Two resorts publish conflicting numbers on their own sites. Both are worth knowing before you build a floor plan around a figure you read once.
Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. The wedding-venues page states the 15-hole golf course "can accommodate up to 700 guests". The capacity chart on the same page gives the 15th Hole Golf Course a banquet capacity of 500. Those are different questions — standing versus seated — but the page does not say so, and the 200-guest gap matters at scale.
Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa. The weddings page says the resort caters to "a maximum of 100 guests comfortably in our ballroom". The events capacity chart gives the Vision Meeting Room a banquet capacity of 120 and theatre 220. The word doing the work is "comfortably". If you are at 110 seated, ask the resort which number governs.
Get the figure that will be in your contract, in writing, for the specific space and the specific setup. A website number is a starting position, not a guarantee.
Which resorts cannot take 100 guests — or do not say they can?
This is the part nobody publishes, and it will save you a fortnight of emails.
| Resort | Largest published wedding capacity |
|---|---|
| Plantation Island Resort | Largest package is Domoni, up to 30 guests |
| Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay | Largest package is Dream Fiji, up to 30 guests |
| InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa | Largest published package is Yalayala, up to 50 guests |
| Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa | Paradise Wedding, max 80 guests |
| DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji | No wedding capacity published; outdoor space 250 reception / 150 banquet |
| The Pearl Resort, Pacific Harbour | No wedding capacity published at all |
| Malolo Island Resort | No capacity published |
A thirty-guest package ceiling does not mean the resort will refuse a hundred-person wedding. It means the resort has not built a product for one, so everything above thirty is bespoke, quoted from scratch, and slower. Crowne Plaza's convention centre seats up to 900 delegates; its largest published wedding package is thirty people. Those two facts sit on the same website.
One hard operational note: The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa is published on Marriott's own site as currently closed. If it appears on a planner's shortlist or in an older roundup, that is why.
Can the resort sleep your hundred guests as well as marry them?
The capacity question people forget. A hundred wedding guests is roughly 40 to 55 rooms depending on how many couples and families you have, held over three or four nights. Only a handful of Fiji resorts publish a room count on their own site at all:
| Resort | Published rooms |
|---|---|
| Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa | 356 guest rooms |
| Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay | 324 rooms and suites |
| Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island | 270 rooms and suites |
| Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay | 250 accommodations, including 114 suites |
| DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji | 120 guest rooms |
Everything else — Outrigger, Shangri-La, Warwick, Naviti, Sheraton, Sofitel, Plantation, Mana, Malolo, The Pearl — publishes no total. Ask for the room count and, more importantly, the number of rooms they will hold for you and when the hold releases. That mechanism is explained in How Room Blocks Work in Fiji.
What is the wet-weather plan?
At a hundred guests this stops being a detail. Almost no Fiji resort publishes one.
The clearest is Radisson Blu Denarau, which states its Ballroom "seats up to 100 guests, also serving as a wet-weather backup for our outdoor venues". That is an exact match to a hundred-guest wedding and the only published one-to-one backup we have found. Crowne Plaza publishes only "selected indoor spaces for weather contingency"; Malolo Island says "Inclement weather options are also available"; Outrigger notes only that "beach weddings are tide dependent".
Everyone else is silent. Ask three questions of any shortlist: what is the named backup space, what is its seated capacity, and at what hour on the day is the call made. Then read Cyclone Season and Your Fiji Wedding: The Honest Risk Guide before you set a date.
Choose this way
Choose Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort if you want a resort that has published a wedding-specific 100–120 number and a package priced for it — the Dream Wedding Package at FJD 11,500, with additional guests at FJD 180 per person, is the only fully priced hundred-guest product in this set.
Choose Radisson Blu Denarau if the wet-weather plan is what keeps you awake. It is the one resort that has put a named, capacity-matched backup room in writing.
Choose Sheraton Fiji or Fiji Marriott Momi Bay if a hundred is your floor rather than your ceiling, and you may grow. Both publish outdoor banquet capacities of 300 or more.
Choose Mana Island Resort & Spa if you want an island wedding at this size — it is the only Mamanuca property in the directory publishing a wedding banquet range that reaches 150, and its packages are published in FJD.
Choose Shangri-La Yanuca Island or Warwick Fiji if you want indoor scale on the Coral Coast, accepting that neither publishes a wedding-labelled number and you will be negotiating from an event-space chart.
