Above FJ$75,000, a Fiji wedding stops buying privacy and starts buying scale. Privacy was already purchased in the FJ$40,000–FJ$75,000 band, where the money goes on exclusive use rather than extra guests. Past FJ$75,000 you are paying for guests, nights and aircraft — and almost nobody in Fiji publishes a price at this level.

FJ$75,000 is about NZ$61,200 or A$49,200 at the OFX live rate on 12 October 2026 (1 NZD = 1.225182 FJD; 1 AUD = 1.525104 FJD).

How many guests does FJ$75,000 actually buy?

Nobody publishes a package at this figure, so the only honest method is to extrapolate from the packages that are published and label it as extrapolation.

Published packageGuestsImplied per headFJ$75,000 at that rate
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay Grand Fijian — "valued at FJD 50,999"50~FJ$1,020~73 guests
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay Tropical Fijian — FJ$29,99930~FJ$1,000~75 guests
Castaway Island, Fiji Ultimate — FJ$15,440.6320~FJ$772~97 guests

So the working answer is roughly 70 to 100 guests at a four- or five-star property, on published rates, for the wedding itself. These are not quotes. They are arithmetic on other people's published numbers, and the per-head rate at 75 guests will not match the per-head rate at 20 — catering scales, coordination does not.

Notice also that the two Momi Bay packages land within FJ$20 a head of each other at 30 and 50 guests. That consistency is the most useful signal on this page: at mainland resort scale, Fijian wedding pricing is close to genuinely linear at around FJ$1,000 per guest, all-in on the wedding day.

Route one: scale on the mainland

If your list is 75 to 150 and the money is going on the people, these are the properties with the published capacity to take it.

On the Momi Bay conflict: the resort's own material says Vonu Beach "can be set to seat up to 500 family and friends," while its capacity chart lists 400 for a reception and 300 for a banquet. North Point shows the same split — prose says up to 300, chart says 400 reception and 300 banquet. Its summary also states 424 m² of total event space, which cannot be squared with a 3,000 m² Vonu Beach and a 1,100 m² pre-function area in the same document. We publish all of it and let you ask which is right. That is the point of publishing capacities others hide.

Route two: an island, for several nights

The other way past FJ$75,000 is a small guest list and a whole island over multiple nights. The cost driver here is villas multiplied by nights, which is why a 14-villa island can cost more than a 150-guest mainland wedding.

  • COMO Laucala Island — around 25 villas and residences on a roughly 3,000-acre island off Fiji's north, with its own working farm, an 18-hole championship course and a dive centre, typically reached by private flight from Nadi. Beach, chapel and private-island ceremony settings. No rate published.
  • Turtle Island Fiji — 14 villas for 14 couples on Nanuya Levu in the Yasawas, all-inclusive, twelve private beaches, with ceremonies published on the Blue Lagoon shore, Long Beach and Mountain Top. The whole island is the unit. No rate published.
  • Six Senses Fiji — 24 pool villas plus multi-bedroom residences on Malolo, 45 minutes by speedboat from Port Denarau or a short helicopter transfer from Nadi. No rate published.
  • Vomo Island Fiji — 40 rooms, an island chapel, and the only property on this list that publishes anything: The Paradise Wedding from FJ$5,483, with a minimum 4-night stay for wedding couples and 3 nights for group weddings. It states that the island can be booked exclusively for private hire and publishes no buyout rate.
  • Yasawa Island Resort — 18 rooms, and couples can "reserve the entire resort." No rate published.

The night minimums are the mechanism. Vomo's published three- and four-night floors show how a buyout gets expensive without anyone raising the nightly rate: you are not buying a day, you are buying a property's entire revenue for several of them. The band below this one is covered in Fiji wedding venues FJ$40,000–FJ$75,000 and the mechanics in whole-resort buyouts.

What FJ$75,000 does not include

This is the part that surprises people at every budget level, and most of all at this one:

  1. Guest flights. Not yours to pay, and the reason your list shrinks. See do guests pay for their own flights.
  2. Guest accommodation. Published packages include nights for the couple — Castaway's two guest packages include four, Vomo requires three or four. Guests book their own.
  3. Guest transfers. At island scale, boats and seaplanes for 75 people is a project in itself.
  4. VAT, service charge and levies. Whether a quote is inclusive or exclusive is not consistent across Fijian properties — the detail is here.
  5. Exclusive use, unless it says so. At a 356-room Denarau resort you are a wedding among other guests unless you have bought otherwise.

The five questions that make quotes comparable

At this budget the venues will quote you anything. Make them quote the same thing:

  1. Guest count and number of nights — identical in every brief.
  2. Is the figure VAT and service-charge inclusive?
  3. Is exclusive use of the ceremony and reception space included, or extra?
  4. What are the room release, attrition and cancellation terms? See deposits and cancellation terms.
  5. What is the wet-weather space, and what does it seat? A 600-seat ballroom is worth real money against a 2,000-person lawn with no roof.

The verdict

Spend it on guests if the point is having everyone there: Hilton's Koro Lawn or the Sheraton on Denarau, or InterContinental's Natadola Ballroom on the Coral Coast, where around FJ$1,000 a head is the going published rate and the indoor fallback is real.

Spend it on nights and an island if the point is that nobody else is there: Vomo for a published starting price and clear minimums, Turtle Island or COMO Laucala if the brief is privacy at any cost.

Do not spend it on both. Exclusivity and 100 guests in Fiji is a number well north of FJ$75,000, and anyone promising you both inside this budget has not priced the transfers.
