Sixteen properties on the Coral Coast take weddings, and they are the most transparent group in Fiji: eleven publish package prices, three publish chapel or ceremony capacities, and seven publish a transfer time from Nadi. That is more than Denarau Island discloses and more than the islands do. What none of them publishes is a wet-weather plan.
This is the complete list, running west to east along the Queens Road from Natadola to Korolevu, with every figure the property itself puts on a page.

Which Coral Coast venues have a real chapel?
Three, and they are quite different things.
Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort has the most distinctive: Bure Ni Loloma, the house of love, built on Lomalagi Hill above the resort. Outrigger sells it as a standalone package at FJ$4,400 including exclusive chapel use, the marriage licence, an ordained minister, florals, a trio of serenaders, a private beachside dinner and champagne breakfast — taxes included. The chapel's seated capacity is not published.
Shangri-La Yanuca Island has a Seaside Chapel, promoted on its weddings page but conspicuously absent from the resort's own event-spaces capacity table, so the resort publishes no chapel capacity anywhere. MICE Fiji's own verified record for the property puts the Seaside Chapel at a ceremony capacity of 40; treat that as our figure, not the resort's.
Yatule Resort & Spa and Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa both publish a chapel, but both describe it as available for hire for cocktail events rather than as the ceremony venue — the ceremonies happen on the beach or the lawn. If the chapel matters to you, ask specifically whether you can marry inside it.
InterContinental Fiji has a glass-walled wedding pavilion with Natadola Bay views, named Loloma. The resort does not call it a chapel, and if church-style architecture is the point, that distinction matters. See Fiji wedding venues with on-site chapels for the national picture.
What happens if it rains?
Not one Coral Coast property publishes a wet-weather backup plan. That is the single largest gap in the region's disclosure, and it is worth knowing that across both the Coral Coast and Denarau Island, only Radisson Blu on Denarau publishes an explicit wet-weather venue.
The nearest thing on the Coral Coast is Outrigger's Palm View Terrace, which the resort describes as offering "guaranteed shelter". Gecko's Kalevu Events Centre is described as having indoor and outdoor flexibility. Warwick's Talanoa Hall and Coral Coast Conference Centre, and Shangri-La's nine indoor event spaces, are plainly capable of hosting a wet-weather reception — but none is published as the designated backup.
So ask the question in writing, name the room, and get the call time and the cost in the contract. Our wet-weather plan guide covers how to word it, and wedding venues with wet-weather backup lists what is confirmed nationally.
One related detail: both Outrigger and The Naviti state that beach ceremonies are tide dependent. That is honest and useful — it means your ceremony time is set by the tide chart, not your preference, so confirm the tide before you print invitations.
Can you bring your own photographer, celebrant or planner?
No Coral Coast property publishes a policy, and that is a genuine information gap rather than a shy answer. The closest published statements are Outrigger's two explicit refusals — restaurants cannot be booked exclusively for wedding parties, and bringing your own alcohol is strictly prohibited at private functions — and Fiji Hideaway's requirement that, on its Paradise package, all guests must be staying at the resort.
Tambua Sands publishes one operational commitment that is better than a policy: it hosts just one ceremony per day.
If outside suppliers matter to you, you will have to ask each property directly. We have written up what to ask in can you bring your own photographer to a Fiji resort wedding and listed the properties that have confirmed an open policy in outside-vendor-friendly venues.
How far is the Coral Coast from Nadi airport?
Further than most couples assume, and the spread across the region is substantial. Using each property's own published figure:
| Area | Properties | Published drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Natadola and west | Likuri, InterContinental, Yatule | 45 – 60 min |
| Korotogo and Sigatoka | Gecko's, Outrigger, Bedarra | 60 – 75 min |
| Korolevu and east | Fiji Hideaway | ~90 min |
Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Warwick, The Naviti, Tambua Sands, Crusoe's, Mango Bay, Matanivusi, Wellesley and de Vos publish no transfer time at all. The pattern above is a reasonable guide, but confirm with your own property.
For 50 guests, private vans along this corridor run around FJ$3,400 return on published rates from Tourist Transport Fiji; Xplore Fiji publishes per-vehicle bands from FJ$160 to FJ$800 one way depending on coach size and how far east you go. Coral Coast Transfers Tours & Rentals and Coastline Fiji also operate the corridor. Full costings are in Fiji wedding cost by island.
Which Coral Coast venue suits which wedding?
- Two to ten guests, lowest cost: Likuri Island Resort from FJ$1,550, or Matanivusi from FJ$1,800. Both are simple, both are honest about it.
- Twenty to thirty guests with a chapel option: Outrigger at FJ$7,200 for 10 to 29, or Yatule's All Inclusive at FJ$12,915 for up to 30.
- Thirty to fifty guests, premium: InterContinental's Yalayala at FJ$27,390 to FJ$29,347 for up to 50 — the most expensive published package on the coast, and the only one with a glass pavilion.
- Up to 100 guests: Outrigger's Dream package, capped at 100 with extra guests at FJ$180 each; or The Naviti's marquee set-up, also up to 100 but unpriced.
- Above 100 guests: Warwick Fiji or Shangri-La Yanuca Island, where the conference rooms do the lifting — Talanoa Hall at 500 cocktail, Ratu Makutu at 500 reception. Neither publishes a wedding price.
- Complete privacy: de Vos, which sells exclusive use of its beachfront venue for both ceremony and reception, capped around 20 guests, priced in Australian dollars.
- A buyout: Crusoe's Retreat publishes a complete resort buy-out option across its 28 bures, with no price, minimum or capacity published. InterContinental offers either the whole resort or all 50 Club suites.
Before you enquire
Get three things in writing from any Coral Coast property: the named wet-weather room with its call time, whether the chapel can host the ceremony itself or only cocktails, and the tide-dependent ceremony window for your date. None of the three is reliably on a website.
Then compare settings nationally on the wedding venues hub and the capacity chart, read the region itself in the Coral Coast complete guide, and browse every listing on the Coral Coast.
